Global hiring and HR platform for Impact organizations
Impactpool needed to unify a fragmented product ecosystem serving over 900,000 users while enabling continued growth of their global talent platform. They needed more than incremental improvements — they needed a scalable structure built to support both users and long-term expansion.

Challenge
Impactpool’s platform had evolved into a fragmented ecosystem combining ATS, CMS, and a global talent career platform. Over time, inconsistent structures, duplicated workflows, and unclear navigation created friction across both B2B and B2C experiences. This increased cognitive load for client organisations and over 900,000 users, making it harder to manage recruitment workflows and connect talent with opportunities. The platform needed a unified and scalable structure to improve usability and support continued growth.
Solution
I conducted a comprehensive IA audit to identify duplicated functionality, structural gaps, and workflow friction across key user journeys. Redefined the platform architecture by creating clear content domains and a scalable navigation model that unified ATS and CMS workflows. I streamlined candidate workflows and introduced collaborative tools to improve efficiency for recruitment teams, managing talent pipelines. Created a modular design system and with updated UI patterns to improve consistency, accessibility, and scalability. I designed flows, wireframes, and prototypes to validate navigation logic and improve task efficiency through continuous user feedback.
Impact & Results
The redesign resulted in a unified experience and consistent platform experience for over 900,000 users. Efficiency was improved with reduced friction across onboarding and core recruitment workflows. This led to increased engagement and conversion through clearer journeys and improved payment plan structures. I laid the foundation by establishing a scalable IA and design system foundations to support future platform growth.
