edTech product for reading proficiency
Infinite Mind needed to transform an early-stage learning product into an engaging and scalable experience that motivates users to improve over time. They needed more than visual refinement—they needed stronger UX foundations, clearer progression, and a gamified product experience that balanced playfulness with usability to support long-term engagement and growth.

Challenge
Infinite Mind needed a concept and new UI/UX, with clear feedback loops and interaction patterns to engage users and support long-term engagement. Navigation, progression, and contextual feedback needed to be clear, and a new mobile design that is intuitive and motivating. The challenge was to create a product experience that balanced playful gamification with usability—making reading improvement feel engaging and rewarding while maintaining clarity around progress, goals, and performance. The platform needed stronger UX foundations to support engagement, improve retention, and create a cohesive experience across product and brand touchpoints.
Solution
Through gamification I designed motivating progression systems, feedback loops, and playful interactions that encouraged users to build habits, track improvement, and stay engaged over time. UI/UX & Brand Alignment: I refined the interface and visual language to create a product experience that felt playful, motivating, and efficient while aligning product and brand messaging. I conducted unmoderated usability testing through Maze to validate interaction patterns, measure usability improvements, and iterate the experience based on user expectations. I extended the design improvements across the marketing website to strengthen the overall product narrative and create a more consistent user journey.
Impact & Results
The redesign created a more engaging and cohesive product experience by introducing clearer progression, stronger feedback loops, and a more intuitive mobile UX. Usability improved through simplified navigation, clearer contextual guidance, and interaction patterns that made progress, goals, and next steps easier to understand. This strengthened long-term engagement by making reading improvement feel more motivating, rewarding, and easy to follow over time.
