Non-profit Financial Education Platform
Lifehappens approached me to make complex financial and insurance content more accessible to a wide audience. They weren’t just looking to refresh the interface — they needed a clear and structured experience that could guide users and support long-term engagement.

Challenge
Life Happens provides valuable financial educational content, but the platform structure made it difficult for users to navigate information and complete key tasks efficiently. Over time, unclear content hierarchy and fragmented workflows created friction and reduced engagement. Manual operational tasks and inconsistent organisation made it harder for partner organisations to manage and distribute resources effectively. The platform needed a clearer structure to improve usability, reduce friction, and support future scalability.
Solution
I did a comprehensive audit of IA/UX/UI and reorganised content into clear domains and hierarchies to improve findability and reduce cognitive load. I redesigned search, filtering, and resource management flows to improve content access and distribution. I reworked Automation & Integration to reduced manual processes through workflow automation and improved integration of campaign tools. I redesigned the onboarding flows to improve usability and reduce friction for new users. I produced wireframes and did iterative testing to validate workflows and improve task efficiency.
Impact & Results
Reduced friction and simplified workflows as well as reduced manual effort across key operational tasks. Increased engagement and improved content clarity and usability, increasing interaction with platform resources and higher product engagement. Operational efficiency and streamlined internal processes through better workflow structure and automation. A new consistent design system and information architecture to support future platform growth.
